banshees forlife Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 ok well im buying a banshee. and yes i want one so bad. but i see so many mods on each one iv ever seen and i wanna no something. i found a banshee with t-5 full, jet kit, and k@n filter,and bored 20over vforce reed,. and boost bottel. is this a fast shee? im only asking caz all these mods i hear make banshees sound slow unless they have been ported, cheeta kit, ect so im 17 ride hard and i wanna be with the neaibors 660r. is this banshee gana get me the job done? oo and what can i expect to pay for one with thses mods in good conditon. 97-2003 Quote
99bansheeboy Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 fuck you niggaa LOL JK...anyway now that we have got that aside LOL jk.....i just felt like saying that (no offence if you black) i wouldnt get it if its had a boost bottle and a boring-> boost bottle is shit and makes you lose compression so hes probably thought it needed a boring and rebuild....i would just buy a nice stock one but make sure its newer !!! dont worry your be able to smack that 660 little ass in a drag but not on a track LOL banshees are fast in straight LINES Quote

The boost bottle can stress the intakes boots and cause them to crack, and they add no power at all. You should be able to beat the 660 on that bike if you don't weigh very much and are a good rider. It all depends on what kind of shape its in to determine a price. If its been stored inside and well taken care of $2500. If its kind of beat up and needs bearings, plastic, tires, etc $1000-$1500.
