whats going on guys? anybody heard of crank seals causing starting problems when cold? when it's warmed p it kicks over. also takes while to come down to idle after reving it. thanks. 99 banshee

aright from the top new choke, tube in place float set,carbs clean jetting close, seems like it has air leak somewhere leaning it out. whon't kick cold spay carbs with gas fires right up, after it's alittle warm kick on it's own.any help would be great thanks guys

Have you done a leak down test yet?

Well whens the last time you put some seals in? If there real old yes it can suck air in and cause a lean condition and idle high

 

IMO you should just build a leak down tester real quick for $30 and just check and see if you have an air leak some place.

 

Or at least start the motor and spray soapy water all over the motor, carbs and intakes. If there is bubbles, there is your leak.
