theoriginal87 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 i think one of the main reasons my shee wont start very well is because of the choke.. it looks to me like the rubber seal thing is worn out... so whenever i pull on it and let it go it just pops back closed.... so i was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this or if theres a rebuild kit out there or something?? papa_smurf49319 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 This must be a pretty common problem because i know of a few shees that do this, its no big deal i usually just have to hold the choke out for a little bit and then i can take care of it running with the throttle(slight pressure). Overboost Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 there is a small spring clip inside the choke plunger. it gets worn and will not hold the shaft out. you can fix it by puttin in a larger O-ring, buying a new choke plunger or as stated, just hold it out, start it and then moderate the throttle.
