Snopczynski Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 I would think you would want to run something like curve 1 or 2 with about 5 degrees initial advance, tapered down to something like 0 or 1 degree off stock advance at peak rpm. So you would have some low end advance for take off, and it retards off at the top to help the top end pull harder. Thats if your really running a drag port and cpi pipes. Its something that would have to be programmed into the cdi. Quote
cummings0309 Posted September 5, 2009 Author Report Posted September 5, 2009 lol. Yes its drag ported with cpi inframe pipes. the cases have been ported also or whatever the word is for it that I cant think of now. I am running 18 domes. How will i know if its to much timing? I guess i will just put it on about 3 and just play with it and set it where it runs the best. Do you think one of your programs would do better than just setting the plate and running the box on 3? Its already got the plate on so thats why when I heard you could run both I thought I would ask you guys and play with it cause it aint costing me anything...lol Quote
Snopczynski Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Yeah it will run better if you do custom curves and fine tune it. Quote
