whiteyshee Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 i have a 96 shee im having some issues with starting cold it takes about 20 kicks to start but runs great afterwards i did a compression test and it read 90 psi on both sides i hear its top end but what part rings, pistons? also im at 4,500 ft. im supposed to be at sand mountain labor day weekend looking for a quick easy fix can anybody help? bansheesandrider Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Pull your cylinders off and check your piston to cylinder clearance, if it is within specs. put a set of rings in it. More than likely, the clearance will be too much, and you will need to bore it, put in new pistons and rings. Make sure you buy quality parts, buying cheap stuff now will cost you more later, Also, make sure whoever bores it knows what they are doing. Good luck. Quote
