Trail Tech HIDs

Got some Hids for my 450. Its a kicker motor. Do I need a Battery to run these. Or can I just wire up? Trx build is coming along nice. I miss my shee but let me tell u. This trx is no joke. Thx in advance for any advise.

You need a battery to run hid's. It's probably already converted to dc, so the led lights I use would probably work without a battery. The goki kit doesn't mention a regulator/rectifier so i imagine its already got one stock and is converted to dc from the factory.

Wow What the hell are u talkin about. Ok . I have to run a batt. but steering somone in the direction of a kit that cost over 500 is insane. I dont know? Maybee I misunderstood u. I can wire a small batt and run the hid then. I know this. and it can be done for under 100 bux.

i dont think snop was telling you to buy the kit. i think he was saying that since the kit didnt come with regulator/rectifier, it probably already has one so all you need is a battery. i think the link was just for illustration purposes :biggrin:
