I have Boyesen Pro Series reeds and was chasing a cold start problem for a long time. Inspected the reeds a few times... they were in fairly good shape, not cracked but it looked liked they weren't sealing very well. Flipped them around a couple times, still having the same problem. Finally said fugget and bought new reeds (same ones). Bike is starting and running great now. I'm not 100% sure it was bad reeds but sure seems like it. Quote
