Snopczynski Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Yeah, I dont know what happened with this dude and K&T, but, Every one I have ridden or seen has been fast as shit. Quote
ELKARACING_SHEE Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 oh no. you didnt just go there.... he is right the banshee engineers built it with two carbs, changing and putting 1 carb on it messes the whole bike up, that is why some people wonder why the single setup is so hard to setup, cause it wasnt meant for one carb, so get a 250r or a 4 stroke Quote
bansheebarnes Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 idk how much more tq a single carb might have. but all i do is woods riding and recreational trails on occasion. i got dual 30mm carbs. and i love it for what i do. who needs alot of tq anyway? thats what the clutch is for. Quote

I think its snappier and yes definantly has more torqe. I like it in the trees and hill climbs just for that reason. And you get way better fuel milage! LOL! :yelrotflmao: Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 The torque gain is pretty minimal, its the acceleration speed that increases and gets most people excited. Howeve, it whacks quite a bit of power off the top end. I have a fairly low revving rpm motor. I peak at 8,750 rpm give or take 50rpm. My hp difference between twins and a single at that rpm was 4.74 hp. That was about a 7.5% gain going to twin carbs, and I didn't notice any change in the bottom end power. It definitely pulls harder on the top now though. Quote

04trinityshee Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Posted August 21, 2009 Thanks for all the feedback guys it came with the 2 into 1 when i bought it i prob would still have duals if it was up to me because i priced the kit and i prob wouldn't have bought it.....and i do a little bit of both i'm not balls to the wall drag racing but when i go to busco beach it kinda turns into that....but if i keep it in the power band on take off the bottom end tq is endless Quote
