blackshee03 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 hey everybody. my shee seems like it is eating plugs quicker than it should because its running to rich. only mods are just toomey t5s and 280 main an stock pilot. needle probably in stock position. i live in ny, not sure of the elevation but i cleaned the carbs and messed with the air/fuel screws. now it is to lean because the plug is gray. can anybody tell me a good place to start on the screws would be please. it seems to have alot more power an less boggy but i dont want it to go boom because i just rebuilt it a few weeks ago. thanks guys Quote
AKheathen Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 start with the airscrews @ 1.5 turns out, and mix you oil less, if you are still @ 20:1, move to 32:1. then do a plug chop. compare your elements/ mods here Quote
blackshee03 Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Posted August 5, 2009 k i think im at 2 turns out so il do 1 3/4 an re-test?? i mix klotz r-50 at 3 ounces per gallon of 93 i think thats between 32 an 40 which is a good amount of oil, not to rich but not lean Quote
