old roost Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 (edited) Ok got the main gear off, thanks for the advice, i wasnt sure if i should tap on it or not being i have never worked on a banshee before. Now that i have the gear off i cant get the right side bearing off. i t should just slide off correct???? It spins very freely if you give it a flick of your finger it will spin at least 10-15 times all the way around.but it does sound slightly noisy so i think i should replace it in stead of lubing it up. also painted case black, came out really nice, i used 1200 degree high temp paint, started stripping paint and surface rust from the frame, started painting that red, Edited August 3, 2009 by old roost Quote
T_Shee Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 that bearing is pressed onto the crank. if you wanna replace it i would take it somewhere and have them do it or just replace the crank Quote

Ok so if i order a new crank does it come already together with new rods etc? Good place to get one? or would i be ok with the ones that are on it for a while? Like i said they both spin very very freely Quote
