randytbo Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Just rebuilt my shee. Started it and let it run for about 5 min then let it cool. Did that twice. Gas was mixed pretty strong. Ended up taking the top end off because I was hearing a noise. All was good in the except there was a lot of oil that was black. Is this normal from idling too much or am I sucking oil from my trans? Btw the noise ended up being a loose stator. Quote
randytbo Posted July 26, 2009 Author Report Posted July 26, 2009 what premix oil are you using? Yamalube. The fuel sat for 2 months in the tank and I added another 50 ml just to be on the safe side I'm sure that's way too much and I shouldn't have been so lazy and went for some new stuff. Quote
