Maul Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 I'm at a loss, cant get the flywheel to budge. Tried heat and a few light taps on the pulled with no luck. Is there any other tricks. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 are you using the correct puller? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Well let a bunch of PB blaster soak in over night. then screw in the right puller as tight as it can go. Then hit the bitch with a powerful impact with "at least" 200FTLBS of torque. She will pop off like nobody's business. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 You have to use a flywheel puller and do not use the kind that has the prongs. use the one that screws in and use a impact to pull it off. Just be careful sometimes they fly off pretty quick. Here is what you will need http://www.scootering.net.au/scooterparts/...el_pullerPX.gif Quote

Maul Posted July 23, 2009 Author Report Posted July 23, 2009 Yes have the right puller. Guess I'll have to put some PB blaster in it over night. Should I set the bike on its side so it can work down in. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 No need to, just be ready to catch it and don't lose the moonkey that holds it on as well. There tiny and can easily be lost than your screwed when you go to put it back on. Quote
Maul Posted July 23, 2009 Author Report Posted July 23, 2009 OK Thanks for all the quick replies guys Quote
