danimal95 Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Rarely does a stock stator go bad and cause the bike to misfire. Usually a problem with the stock stator will cause the bike to stop running. Have you checked the plug caps or tested them? no i havent,i guesss i didnt think that could be a problem, wheat should they ohm out at?im kinda at a loss on this one, generally from my expirance it is a dirty carb, that isnt the case now...any ideas would be appreciated Quote

bigwill Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 sometimes the stator will go weak and you will only get what you describe- the stator has 4 wires-get the red and green- set your meter to ohms-you should get between 14 to 21 ohm check manuel------peace Quote
