Jetting info

I am getting ready this weekend to have my FMF pipes put on and jetted...I have VF 3 reeds, and a uni filter with no snorkel and air box mod completed. Where should i start on jetting...260-270-280-290??? How about the pilots? I have stock carbs. my elevation is roughly 0-1000

That's what me and my uncle both ran on our stock bikes, mine had T5's his had FMF's. I would even start off with a 300 main and work your way down. And you can use your stock needle on the 3rd clip i just like the DynoJet and Toomey needles because they have 6 clip positions vs the stock needles only have 5, give you more room to play with your jetting.

what kind of airbox mod is this? Like 6 1" holes or what? And what kind of FMF pipes are they? If the lid is off I would start around 290-300 and go from there. but with the lid on and 1" holes I would start around 270-280. And if the bottom end is fine with 25pilots then there is no need to go up to 27.5's I ran the 25's with pods on my bike for a year and had one hell of a hole shot. After porting I had to move up to the 27.5's with my Fattys.
