Cool Heads

Hi,

Im installing cool heads on my banshee and im not sure how much torque to use on the studs and on the bolts on top the heads

20ft lbs on studs, head and cyls.

 

Do the head nuts hand tight, then tighten them in the right sequence starting with 10ft lbs, 15ft lbs then finally 20ft lbs with a quality torque wrench! Go for a ride, come back and re tourque if needed. I use blue lock tight on the head and cyl nuts and never have to re tighten

 

Also tighten the cyl nuts hand tight, then in a criss-cross pattern and do the same 10,15,20 as above. :thumbsup:
