Alright so I have had my engine bored .40 and I went with mikuni 28mm flatside carbs. What reed, jets, air filter and exhaust set up should I go with? Any suggestions from the experts would be great!

ppl on here are going to want more info. than that. it depends on what you want. you want more low, mid, or high. what kind of riding you going to be doing also? any other mods not listed? whats your elevation as well?

Is there a way to get a good power range all the way through? My set up is nothing more than stock everything except bored .40 and the carbs as stated below, the time is +4 and thats it. I'm not sure what my elevation is, but I'm located in Mississippi a 100 miles north of the gulf of mexico, so its hot and humid. The bike will be used as a starter for doing some drag racing, but it will still see the trails till I can afford more upgrades.

I run CPI in-frame drag pipes, those are all top end...my brother in-law has Pro-Circuts and those are more of a mid pipe....it all depends what your looking for man......any pipe besides stock will wake that bike up, they just wake it up in differant area's depending on the pipe makers.

As for reeds go with the V Force 3 cages. well worth the $250.00

i'm running pro circuits right now, with a k&n drop in filter. I'm wondering if there is a better air system as well as exhaust system. If the silencers get completely under water, can it hurt the baffles inside?

well then, the pipes was an important piece of info that you witheald. you are already on your way to a midrange setup, so stick with the pc's perhaps a boysen rage cage, open your lid up for better flow, and go +4 on the timing. your silencers will dry out if the packing gets wet. just run-em

i have the pcp's as well, and i don't wanna go back to a topend pipe as the perform awesome in the trails/woods. decide what you are gonna do, and then we can give you an aproximate getting to tune off of.
