bansheejuggalo Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) My friend has a banshee it has t-5's v-force 3 cages and reeds trinty 2-1 carb/intake open k&n filter just rebuilt top end with bore over .60 pro lite pistons all new gaskets 19 cc domes with a cool head its pushing 160 psi on both cyls have the timing +4 with a high output rick stator 200 stator at this time running 110 with 32:1 amsoil now heres the problem we got the motor back from the guy who built it and put it in the bike. we tried to tune the carb which has a 180 main and a 85 jet and so far all we get is hardstarting and when we get it started it will back fire when shifting to second and will bog down and die (also has a hard time idling) also when we pull the plug its black put new ones in and the same thing pulled the plug and black Edited June 24, 2009 by bansheejuggalo Quote
BlasterKX Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 sounds like jetting but ive also heard that the newer Ricky Stators are junk. hell it might be a mix of the 2. if he has the stock stator laying around put it in and see what it does then if it still does it. it could be jetting etc Quote
