banshee_terror_ Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 hello, my compression was 90 on both cylinders about a month ago, havent checked in a while...but im thining about a top end, i want to do it myself, is there a good site that has instructions and diagrams? ive never changed a top end...what tools will i need? thanks a 10/12 mill socket for the head and juggs. dont know the size but i know its one of those most likely the 12. and mine had alen keys for the intake boots for the carb. and needle nose pliares or a small screw driver to pull of the old circle clips of the pistons. then put all the new stuff on with new gaskets. as of taking the shee apart. you can do it will the motors in but its easier when its out. plastics of gas tank off and ofcourse the exhoust you need to take them off. and theres probley little odds and ends like taking of the coolent hose Quote
