hpwdhatch Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 i'm assembling my motor back together on my banshee and after i install the transmission I perform a transmission shifting check. my problem is when i try shifting it only goes to 3rd gear. when i take the mainshaft and countershaft out it shifts fine. i've tried the adjustments on the adjustment bolts but still no luck. ohiobanshee Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Turn the output shaft while you are trying to shift.Without a little movement it will not shift through all the gears. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Shaft that chain sprocket goes on. Parts need to be rotating to move/shift properly/easily. Quote
