So I added a Trinity Head with 19cc domes and Trinity IV pipes. These replaced my FMF Fatty pipes and stock head. I was expecting to notice a difference in power and I haven't. When I raced my freind (50HP Raptro 700) we were side by side all the time. Now with my new parts we are side by side all the time, so no change. The bike does feel like it lost a little lowend but gained a little highend. I guess I should take it back to the dyno and see what it says, but jut wondering what the pros think. Should I see a decent gain with the new parts? Jetting is real good and I am running 110 fuel now because my compression is 160psi.

Kinda makes sense...Fattys have more low end than Trinitys, but with a bump in compression you should have slightly made up for the loss in low end grunt.

So really all you should see is a little more top end and over rev from the different pipes. With higher comp and octane, have you added a little timming?

btw - with comp of 160 you can probably get away with just premium or a 50/50 mix of premium and racing fuel...other wise you're just wasting money.

No rejetting needed. I guess porting is my next step. Damn these things are a never ending money pit.

From the compression alone it should be a little more power from top to bottom. With stock port timing I don't think you will see any benefit from the pipes. You would see a good jump in power if you had a timing plate with at least +4 timing.

Give me a ring if you want to see some power.
