Hello Banshee masters,

 

A quick question for you guys, im having problems shifting when im in hi rev,

then I have to let off the throttle and almost force it into the next gear.

 

Only having this problem in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th

 

Time to replace clutch?

 

 

I am not sure what the problem is, If someone can help me out that would be great,

Get you a Clymers, you can download one off the site somewhere. Check all the adjustments in your clutch from the clutch arm on top of the cases to the shift shaft and eccentric nut.

do you have a high hp motor, cuz mine did this when i had a stock trans in my motor that made 76 hp on the dyno and it would not shift worth a shit

I will check all adjustments again,

as for the motor its not a high hp motor.

I think the carbs have been changed

and a mild port job when I got the top end done.

 

I dont know much about this quad, just learning from this site

 

I guess I have one more question,

 

Adjustable timing plate ? please tell me your thoughts,

Timing plates are a cheap bang for your buck. Get it, and a flywheel puller (banshee only, no 3-prong puller) and slap the timing plate on, set it at +4 or so and go from there. It'll give ya some more bottom end and power all over.
