I just got a banshee a couple days ago...i plan on building it to drag, but there are a few local county fair drags starting in 2 weeks that i am going to race in just to see how things go...all are on dirt, and i am not racing many if any built quads....but my question is what are some quick and cheap mods i can do to help me go a little faster...gearing, etc....i weigh 140lb, and my banshee has 20" tires, with full pro circuit exhaust and boost bottle....the drags range from 150ft to 300ft.....thanks

carbs, cool head (bump up the compression), reeds, filters, swingarm, and tires are about all you will probably get done in time. How fast you wanna go all depends on how much you wanna spend.

First off. What all mods do you have now?

How much do you have to spend?

what terrain are you going to be riding? asphault, dirt, mud, sand?

what fuels can you get? some people cant get race fuels.

we need some more info. and post a pic of your banshee!

well for $2k you can probably get everything i listed. Now start READING. go to search and type in carbs. 684351 threads will come up with what carbs to buy. read them and make you decision. ect ect.

IMO without porting dont go too big on the carbs. grab you some 30's. if you plan on porting it you may need to get some bigger ones.

90% of which parts to buy is opinion based. so you need to do your research and find out what you think will suite you best.
