Drewski Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I had a post explaining that my shee was idling higher than normal after a long ride and someone told me i could have an air leak somewhere or it could have been running hot because of low oil or something, but what I failed to mention was that on the left side of the bike my exhaust was viberating against the cylinder. I'm not sure if it was to do with the higher idle and it's always done that, and just not noticed, but it seems a little ruff. I have not started it since then due to lack of knowledge and fear of destroying my baby, it is still fairly new being a 2007 . If anyone can give any ideas on where to start I would be thankfull. Drewski Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 does a leak explane the vibe problem? Quote
FireHead Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 does a leak explane the vibe problem? No, but it would explain a lean problem, which would lead to a wasted bearing problem, which would then lead to a vibration problem. On the other hand, you crankshaft could have worked it's way out of phase and be causing the problems you mention. :geek: Quote
