Bearings

So i completly tore down my whole quad and now its time to put it back together. Is there a kit I could buy that gives me all the bearings? Like it includes the swingarm bearings and a-arm bearings. Or if not, where do you suggest I buy all the bearings and what exactly should I be looking for?

Yeah I put in my quad in the search parameters but which one do i exactly need? There a two different ones for A-Arms and I see the one for the Swingarm but as for where the shock connects to the swingarm, do I get the one for the rear shock that they sell? Because from what I read it sounded like the things they give you for the rear shock are to completely rebuild the shock. Or is that what its called when you just replace all the bearings?

 

Sorry I really just dont know what I'm looking at or looking for and I wanna make sure I get the right things and for the best value I can.

Wow...I feel like a retard. I see that the one A-Arm kit is for upper and the other is for lower. :wallbash:

 

But yeah if you could please explain to me which I need to get for the swingarm with shock.

I think you are talking about the Linkage kit. Thats the kit that you use in the swingarm dogbone where the rear shock connects.

So I'm looking through what they sell for my quad and it looks like I'll be buying one of each kit except for the front and back wheel ones.

 

Do you guys think I should replace the ones for the wheels while the quad is apart? Would it be beneficial enough for me to spend the extra time and money?

Yeah so for all the bearing kits besides the ones for the wheels its around $350.

 

Is it worth it to pay the money and spend the time to do wheel bearings?

 

How difficult and how long does it take to do the wheel bearings on these?

The wheel bearings are a breeze just be sure not to score and jack up the sleeve between the two bearings.

yea the wheel bearings are easy and worth it. lol if i remember corectly the needle bearings in the swingarm are a mother fucker to get out. put all the new bearings in the freezer for a while b4 installing the it makes them go in easier
