NitroTate Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 I'm looking for a quick answer because I need to try to order them immediately if they will work. I've talked to others that say they have put them in and i remember reading a thread a really long time ago about the topic but can't find it now. If you have let me know how you got the screen in there? Did you have to cut the internal tube down so it doesn't slide inside the end cap anymore?? Thanks for the quick help in advance! tate Quote
shanYE west Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Never used it on toomey's.. but I did use them on shearers. Just jamed the cap back on and riveted the cap. BansheeDan used them on his toomey's.. not exactly sure how he did it.. but he did. Quote
NitroTate Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 Yeah I PM'ed him to ask but figured he might be at work so I asked on the forum too.... I need to order them today or maybe tomorrow at the very latest to get them before memorial day... Do you happen to know the part number?? Quote
bode1 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 I think the part number is: SA-01. They were not on their website, I was emailing back and forth with one of their tech support guys, but I never bought them, I think they were around $40 a pair shipped. I'll try to find the guys name I was emailing with. Quote
bode1 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 The name was Paul Seibert ext. 231. Was just gonna command my wife to get me a set for fathers day. Quote
NitroTate Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 Thanks I appreciate that. I also just talked to them and they are $14. each but I have 2 banshees and a blaster to get them for so I'm looking at $70. that I don't have right now so I might just be risking it... Quote
shanYE west Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 one kit did both of my shearers.. you have to cut them down. Quote
NitroTate Posted May 13, 2009 Author Report Posted May 13, 2009 one kit did both of my shearers.. you have to cut them down. Oh so the one screen is big enough to cut down for both then huh? Hmmm I might just do that then. So on the shearers are they designed similar to toomeys? Does the end cap slide over the internal tube? If so did you just cut the tube down or were you able to wrap the screen around it and jamb it in there?? Quote
