mattsny83 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Just wondering if there is an advantage of running spindal mount rim's with sand tire for a Drag bike 4mill Quote
shanYE west Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 weight savings.. If your going to race in the dunes.. I'd suggest the 10x4's. 10x2's if your gonna run on the tracks Quote

2slow350 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 thanks I am going to run sand If you think you'll ever run front brakes again or want to, I believe jjanda makes them with rotor mounts.. I don't know if anyone else does this.. Quote

I don't know if anyone else does this.. what jj&a sells, i would not consider a true spindle mount wheel. that is if you are talking about their 3 spoke hub and wheel. i believe wicked has some spindle mounts with mounting for front brakes. i know the direct drive spindle mounts that i have do not have any provisions for front brakes. i would also suggest a 4" wide wheel for duning and hillshooting.
