dave5.0 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Be alot more fun with at least a set of pipes on it. I would think it would be alright though. You could put a 13 on the front a little cheaper. Make it pretty zippy. I'm thinking of making the trip there at the end of the summer. About 27 hours for me. Got some family up there. Kinda of a duel purpose trip. Hopefully it will all work out. sandnut Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Rocky Mountain ATV had rear spockets pretty cheap last week. You should go the third week of June, nitrotate and I will be up there for a week. Quote
LaegerEliminator Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 My last trip to St. Anthony I ran 13 - 42. I'm running Duncan's 403 Eliminator motor with a full Laegers Chassis with 20 - 10 - 10 skat track edges, 10 paddle. That seemed to work best for me. The trip before I ran 13 - 40, felt a little too tall. Quote
Wildcardracing Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Most people like to gear down a bit for St Anthony. I ran 14/40 my last trip there and got around just fine...but I'm turnin a bit more power. Quote
BumpaD_Z28 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I run 14/46 , BUT I'm on 22x12 8" rim hauler extremes ... ~DaVe Quote
BoostedRex Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Everyone I know gears way down for st anthony's. Everything is steep and there really isn't room to get it all the way into 6th gear. Quote
01banch Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Ill Be at St. Anthony June 19-28th. I run a 13/40 at St. Anthony and it works great. And I run a fairly stock motor, Pipes filter and timing. Quote
