Gas valve vibrates to off.

So when i ride the pipe hits the gas valve and vibrates it to the off position, can I just ride with it on reserve all the time?

yeah but youll never have a "reserve". once youre out of gas, youre out of luck.

 

but if youre like me you never let it get that low anyway.

The way the stock fuel valve works is two pickup screens.

The taller one is on. The shorter one is reserve.

 

If the pipes are hitting the fuel valve, shim it out with some washers, you don't want that heat traveling into your fuel system...
