captainhowdie Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Just wondering if anyone would have an idea what may be going on here. When my shee is not running but in gear and you pull in the clutch it wont roll freely, just act like its in gear still. But the clutch is adjusted right, i actually just put a new one in it from herr juggs thinking that would take care of the problem because my old clutch was shot, but it didnt. Anyone have any suggestions? Quote

Rodneya Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 It should only roll freely when in neutral. Quote
KEVSWS6 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 This always happens when the bike sits and the gear oil gets cold. It makes the clutch plates stick even when the throw out plate is out. Always start and move the bike in neutral. I would never move the bike in gear with the clutch lever pulled in. Just to much drag from the sticky oil in the clutch. Quote
captainhowdie Posted May 14, 2009 Author Report Posted May 14, 2009 Thanks for the info kevin. Clutch works flawless. Thanks again for the great service and fast shipping! Quote
