I didn't seem to be getting any spark in the new build so I started checking the ohms of the stator and coil. Stator checked ok. Primary Coil checked ok but secondary part of coil (spade terminal to spark plug) had nothing, not even a blip of ohms on the meter. Acted just like there was no circuit at all. Everything worked fine when I disassembled a few months ago so just find it odd and wanted to know if anyone has experienced this.

don't worry, many are like that. you measure the secondary from cap to cap

Well that's good to know. It looked like to me the manual was referencing the spade terminal to plug cap. Guess I'll have to check again.

yah, there is 2 different coils, but i've only seen reference on the one for testing, and the other when showing how it works. the one you have fires from one plug to the other, and the other fires to ground
