NN2 Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 I didn't seem to be getting any spark in the new build so I started checking the ohms of the stator and coil. Stator checked ok. Primary Coil checked ok but secondary part of coil (spade terminal to spark plug) had nothing, not even a blip of ohms on the meter. Acted just like there was no circuit at all. Everything worked fine when I disassembled a few months ago so just find it odd and wanted to know if anyone has experienced this. Quote
AKheathen Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 don't worry, many are like that. you measure the secondary from cap to cap Quote
NN2 Posted May 6, 2009 Author Report Posted May 6, 2009 don't worry, many are like that. you measure the secondary from cap to cap Well that's good to know. It looked like to me the manual was referencing the spade terminal to plug cap. Guess I'll have to check again. Quote
