studroes Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 does anyone know if there are any silencers that can be used on shearer inframes? i dont want to switch to another set of pipes but i do want to run an airbox and with the shearers there is no way of the airbox even being close to working. Quote
rubberneck Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 Good luck with that one, definitely no clearance in there. My gut tells me you would have to do something custom, and the stingers are larger diameter than like t5s so it would be real tight. Quote
extreem9 Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 Can you get a heat gun and heat up the air box alittle and push in the plastic a bit for some clearence. Are you looking to get different silencers in general or? You can also buy some chrome heat tape to put on the aitbox to keep the silencers from burning it. I have never delt with a stock air box but these may be some otions for you. Quote
