bstro Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Kick start is not catching anything... i can move it by hand all the way down with effort at all... I looked through the forums to see if anybody else has had that problem but didnt see any posts about it. whats do yall think is going on here? Quote
01banch Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 It could be the gear on the back of the clutch basket, bad splines were the kick starter connects or a blown up top end! I am sure there are more possibilites and others will chime in. Quote
Bill Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Pull the clutch cover off and snap a pic, then post it up. Quote

bstro Posted May 1, 2009 Author Report Posted May 1, 2009 alright i pulled the cover off and noticed some random piece in their. it doesnt look like it came off of the kickstart gear spring.( not sure where it came from). also when i put on the kick start and worked it with my hand i noticed that the kickstart gear wasnt catching it would either stay in the same spot or it would move past the other gear. what should i do next.............????????? FireHead Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Your FOD seems like it might be the circlip that holds the coolant inlet tube in place................... I can't really tell how big it is. Quote
