01420shee
Which do you think performns better in a banshee? I know the MR2 cost's about $10/gal where alky costs $2/gal Does anyone have any dyno runs on these? I've been trying to decide what to do and want some input from you guys that have ran both side by side, etc. If you have another kind of fuel you think works good please let me know! Thanks... Guest
alcohol is the way to go. changing your machine to alcohol with the correct domes approx. 15cc and a good set of alcohol carbs will bring an honest 12-15 hp depending on many factors(pipes, porting, ignition etc..) to convert correctly and have a great responding machine costs about 1000-1200. mr2 fuel is very good fuel but requires some tuning because it is highly oxgenated fuel. on 600cc four strokes we have seen 3-4 hp at the wheels. here are a few things to consider. you need to burn 2.5 times more fuel for alcohol, mix with organic based two stroke oil(benol),and can be a pain to get a hold of. cost wise it is the same as good race fuel (c12). your ride time is cut in half.
