Might sound like a dumb question but from what i was told no question is dumb lol so here it goes....

The rubber plugs in the bottom of the cylinders. Are they needed or not? The gasket dosent have a hole that matches.......I think the hole is strictly for the casting when they make the jugg. Can I continue my build without these plugs? Waiting on the dealership and they are taking forever!!!!!!

You need them.

I've tried in the past to fill them with RTV in a pinch...but you really need the plugs.

As said, the gasket won't hold the coolant pressure that the rubber plugs will.

Yeah when i got my shee only one cylinder had the plug. Then I pulled the other one when I had all the powder coating done. Anybody know someone with a set?
