278 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 I was interested in getting a stainless steel bolt kit for my banshee, but I dont here much about them and I was wondering why that is? I know you have to use a non-zinc anti-seaze lubricant on them but is there anything wrong with the stainless bolt kits? Quote

You just need to make sure to use some form of lubricant on the threads and torque to the spec they send with the bolts, not the ones in the service manual. For what its worth, i dont use never seize, i use either blue or purple loctite depending on size of fastener and it works great, plus nothing rattles loose. Quote
