Bike runs great, untill I try to hill climb ? It bogs almost like losing gas or somthing. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Jetting is almost certainly the issue, but need more information about "how" it bogs, where in the throttle it bogs etc. to tell for sure. It could also be spark related, due to the heavier load when trying to climb a hill. But, like said, need more in depth info to tell for sure.

sounds like a fuel issue somewhere between your carb and cylinder. im not a banshee dr. but heres what id say.

1. bad jetting

2. one carb is either clogged or unsynced

3. loss of compression on one side

i know these are hard diagnosis unless your a mechanic or banshee freak, but id say start by checking the syncing of your carbs, and try cleaning them also.

fyi banshees use 32:1 that means you can use a 5 gallon tank of gas to one quart of oil, screw that up and bring on the bogging.

I always run mine at 40:1....

my mistake :) alittle extra never hurt, a quart is 32 o.z. The 1 in the 32:1 would only be 20 oz of oil, so adding the full quart makes it 12 oz rich.... i guess next time ill take that into consideration
