pinkshee Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 the last time my kicker was stuck it was because i blew a piston skirt and some debris went into the bottom end. you should probably pull the carbs and reed and see what you can. either that or the little ear on the kicker shaft isn't in the right spot, but i kinda doubt that. anyone else? NitroTate Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 When you pulled the cover off you should have been able to narrow it down to either the motor stuck or the kickstart mechanism. Did you pull the mechanism off and try to turn the motor to make sure the motor is free and smooth? If it was free then you know for sure it's the kicker mech. Then just reinstall it and move it back and forth with the kick lever to see what is hanging up. Quote
