official_style Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 one of the banshees i bought has some kind of random clutch lever on it, and it doesnt seem to pull the cable as much as every other clutch i have seen. when looking at the clutch pull on the top of the case, the notch on the clutch pull moves about 15mm when pulled. this one moves like 11mm. basically it isnt pulling the cable as far. to me, this seems like it would wear out the clutch faster, because it isnt fully disengaging when pulled. should i buy a different clutch perch and lever for this bike? TwistedSheeRida Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 does the clutch still disengage when you pull the lever Quote
official_style Posted April 14, 2009 Author Report Posted April 14, 2009 it seems to, but i havent been able to test it at high rpms, the way it is working right now seems like it would be the same as shifting a car without pushing the clutch all the way in. Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 if it is sitting still and you pull the clutch in all the way in first gear can you roll the bike without any binding Quote
