I think My clutch went out?

Ok today i rode my bike that i just bought yesterday and drove fine..and something seemed to be slipping when i was accelarating then it just quit moving but acted like it wanted it take off then acted like it was in nuetraL...the clutch cable is still good it seems anyways its nice and tight when i hold the clutch...im curious if its the clutch plates or the springs or both...and my bike is built pretty good some im curious whats the best clutch to go with and least expensive and if i cAN get a url for it..im new to 2 stroke and to banshees so i need good advice this bike has vito cold head and boost bottle and weisco piston and reeds 4 degree advanced timing and alot of other stuff so im trying to fiquire out what i need and the best place to take it in missouri or if i should do it myself..my only worry is im gonna fuck it up and it wont run right after words...just please help me out with the best way to go with this clutch situation..

give jeff @ F.A.S.T a call and buy his clutch and clymers manual. it's not that hard to replace. he has some heavier springs, too

Also, ditch the timing key and get a timing plate. Ricky Stator plates can be had for right around $40 and I have yet to hear of one shearing, which is more than I can say for timing keys.
