I've been racking my brain for the past few days on deciding which tire to go with. I've narrowed it down to the Kenda Knarly and the Dunlop KT355 (stock yfz tire). Out of these two which one would be the best bang for the buck??? Is there a difference between the KT355 and KT355A??? What is the difference between the Knarly, Knarly XC and Knarly XC sport radial??? I do want to stick with a 20" tire.

I do not have really have anything to compare to because my banshee still has the stock 2001 dunlops on there. Although I did swap rims/tires with a buddy that has a fairly newer 08 YFZ and they hooked amazing on the banshee. I realized that the KT355 comes in 20x10 and the Knarly is 20x11. Is there a big difference in the knarly being that its one inch wider??? Sorry for all the questions guys.

the kt335 hooks ten times harder than the kt355. the 335 will work in sand and all kinds of terrain. you will pop wheelies with any bike easily. the only problem is that as with all stock type tires, they puncture easier than aftermarket tires and they wear out fast. hope this helps....i had the 355's on a yfz that i had and they would spin too much. i hated them. all kenda tires i have ever tried were way too stiff and were only good for spinning out alot. they withstood harsh rocky terrain really good though. i used to have a friend here in town that owned a tire shop it was called paddle tire king. he let me try out just about every tire there is. the ohtsu tires that FAST sells stick to the ground like glue too

Definitly depends on what you need the tire to do for you.. I think the Knarly's would last about 2X as long as any dunlop...but being a slightly harder compound they may spin a bit more before grabbing... I think the Knarly XT is only available in 22"... as far as width I'd be surprised if you noticed any difference.. if so it wouldnt be a bad thing unless your already rediculasly wide..

I have the 20-11-9 knarly's and love em..
