NitroTate Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Alright guys quick question because I'm having a brain fart... I have a carb that is leaking from where I circled it in the picture below. I think this must have to do with float height or a bad needle valve but I've never noticed a carb leaking from here when either of those are faulty, just through the overflow outlet... I'm I thinking correctly or does anyone know of any other reason why it would be pissing out of there? Oh and ignore the dirt, this is a pic of a spare carb... Quote
NitroTate Posted April 4, 2009 Author Report Posted April 4, 2009 Alright with a fresh mind this morning I figured it out... yep it was the needle valve... had some dirt in it... doh. Quote
AKheathen Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 yup that's the air jet passage that goes strait to the emultion tube, or "needle jet" Quote

Hows the Blaster project for your daughter going Tate? Ray Yep that's exactly what I'm doing and that was actually a question about the blaster carb. I got her started yesterday and she sound really good. Just did one heat cycle yesterday and probably 3 more today. I still have quite a few things to finish up on it like brakes and axle etc. but getting close!! Quote
