bakersfieldturbo Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 ok well my bike was over heating so i decided to rip it apart and buy some new parts. my mods are in my sig.... but i took off the trinity stage IV head.. but how do i get it apart it seems to be stuck together... and then when i called trinity they said all i needed was oring kit .. but any who i was told that with a trinity head i dont need to have a head gasket but when i took off the head there was a gasket... but my question to you guys is do i need to put a new gasket or should it have not been there .. if i need a head gasket if you guys could tell me which one i need... my bore is a 66.00mm/2.00mm.. and where i can get it at... also how do i get the head apart.... thanks .. banshee hq.. AKheathen Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 ok well how do i get the head open.. and i guess what i mean is it goes the head stright ontop of the cylanders.? or does it go head . gasket. cylanders? ok, i'm not 100% on the trinity head, but it should be held together with dowels on either side. push the domes out through the bottom and you can get a heel bar in there an gently ease the 2 halfs apart. be carefull not to damage either edge. Bill Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 To split the head apart once you get it off the cylinders you just take the two allen head bolts off that are holding the down spout on, I dont think thats what its called but you know what I mean right? Quote
