bakersfieldturbo Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 ok well my bike was over heating so i decided to rip it apart and buy some new parts. my mods are in my sig.... but i took off the trinity stage IV head.. but how do i get it apart it seems to be stuck together... and then when i called trinity they said all i needed was oring kit .. but any who i was told that with a trinity head i dont need to have a head gasket but when i took off the head there was a gasket... but my question to you guys is do i need to put a new gasket or should it have not been there .. if i need a head gasket if you guys could tell me which one i need... my bore is a 66.00mm/2.00mm.. and where i can get it at... also how do i get the head apart.... thanks .. banshee hq.. Just for shit and grins did you happen to check your plugs. You could be running lean which will make it over heat. Quote

But you need to look aliitle hard before you put it back together. Why was there a gasket in there? Was it to space out the head, was the guy an idiot that put it in? With the head off roll the kicker to see if the pistons come up out of the cylinders. Or he could have put a gasket in it because they couldnt get it to seal. Quote
