I also have one stud that had some screwed up threads. it was like this when i got it. any way to fix it? hubs are powder coated so i cant beat it out and replace it, and if i replace one i have to replace both! thing i can tap it and get it fixed? there not too bad mostly on the end of it. Powerstroke Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 (edited) I'm almost 50% sure they are 10mmx1.25 pitch. Edited March 29, 2009 by Powerstroke Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 I'm pretty sure you can just clean up the threads with a die kit. Make sure your getting MM nuts and not standard. We screwed up a head stud with a standard nut. They act like they fit going on but once some force is applied they strip faster than a titty dancer. Quote
tidos76 Posted March 29, 2009 Author Report Posted March 29, 2009 I swear last time i went i got 10x1.25 bacuse i got 10x1.5 the first time and they didn't work. I think the guys at my local ace are doing the ol switcharoo on me. I even grabbed a bolt that the nut from my house fit and threaded them on w/o problem. Maybe i have more screwed up threads than i thought. I'm going to try again tomorrow. can't i use lug nutss from the auto store? i belive some hondas are 10x1.25. that may give me some more bling!
