ok, so I want to put this on my shee but have NO clue what one does or any of them do other than I need one or more of them for drag racing.

you can see my set up below.

I want to shift thru the gears with out pulling the clutch when I race.

which set up will I need??

You want an override tranny. You may or may not need a lockout for your clutch. These items are two different things. If you can afford the lockout and cover, or slingshot under cover lockup additionally to the override I would get one. Otherwise, override first. Hard telling what racecut is...could be an override or it could be a back cut tranny. Override is shift w/o pulling clutch, backcut makes for smoother shifting.

No problem bro. Are you understanding the diff. between a lockup and an override?

i would say that a racecu overide can not be backloaded. bt a dunable overide can.. both of these trannys do the same thing, wide open throttle, shifting without using the clutch.. a dunable cost a few bucks more, but is the only way to go.. a lockout goes on your clutch, it is for high HP bikes. it uses centrifugal force (it has weights on it) which lock the clutch plates together extremely tight as rpm increases.. it basically eliminates clutch slippage. hope that makes sense..

The lockup uses cintrifical force to apply more pressure to the outer clutch and squeezes the fibers and steels together to keep your clutch from slipping. The more RPM's the motor turns, the more force is applied. The more power and torque you produce, the greater the need for a lockup. You can get away w/stiffer clutch springs till about 80 horse or so. I had a 85 horse drag ported 4 mill that was fine w/o a lockup till I got an override. The overrided provides a jackhammer affect when shifting causing your clutch to slip. This a good enough explanation?

He is correct...He won't steer you wrong. And sheerider, great explanation, we must have been typing at the same time. Not trying to undermine you.

 its all good.. glad he is getting setup for what he needs.. putting the dunable overide and lockout on my cub was the best thing ever.. its funner to ride.. and a lot faster..
