lordbate Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Im wrist deep into this overhaul and I was wondering if there is any special way the fork go on the drum. my understanding is the position of the drum doesnt matter when installing the forks, but I could be wrong. yet I cant see how it would make any difference. also the little clips that go around the tranny bearings, the ones I have are kinda broken and nasty. should I "make due" or try and replace them? sleeper06 Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Shift forks do go in diffrent there is two diffrent sizes,2-small ones 2GU on them,one small goes on pin toward crank,the other small goes on clutch side back pin,big one on back pin sprocket size,sorry if its hard to follow.You can still seal your case and get a new retainer clip later its worth it Quote
