  2. HOT RODS just send me a new one can I cut that one and crazy glue it?
  3. I need to put that rubber o ring on the center crank bearing. do I have to disassemble or can I stretch it over on the bearing?
  4. Thanx guys. Ill let you know hows its coming along
  5. Im ready to seal that case guys. can someone tell me the best product to seal it with, and possibly a website I can order from
  6. THANX AGAIN
  7. thanks a bunch. It does it matter the drum position when installing forks?
  8. Im wrist deep into this overhaul and I was wondering if there is any special way the fork go on the drum. my understanding is the position of the drum doesnt matter when installing the forks, but I could be wrong. yet I cant see how it would make any difference. also the little clips that go around the tranny bearings, the ones I have are kinda broken and nasty. should I "make due" or try and replace them? Thanx everyone
  9. Its only one gear on the top end that is seized. wont budge tried to beat it loose, nothing. its cool I just bought a tranny out of a newer banshee.
  10. Ok, I've split the case to find my tranny problem. but one of the gears on the end is completely froze. Im glad to of founf the problem but should I buy a new gear assembly or rebuild. I have a clymer manual. and also if im able to free the gear some how will I be ok continuing the rebuild?
  11. thanx guys
  12. I know man, but Im hoping to get by with any easy fix. guess first step is drain that fluid and if theres shavings, then ill know. might as well rebuild the whole thing. clean up my frame while im at it.
  13. I was out riding, you know ripping it, and the banshee started to lag out when in 6th gear. I stopped and let it cool down, but then it seemed as if the tranny was stuck in 5th gear. whats weird is I could find neutral, luckly since I had to push it home. BUT NOW!!! I have full shifting when the bike is not running. 1st, neutral, 2nd, 3rd, ect. yet when the motor is running,... nothing. clutch still engages and disengages with ease. Im hoping it might be my shift shaft assembly. but not sure, any help would be great. DREADING spliting that case
