Should there be a gasket between the carb boot and the reed? I am pretty sure the answer is yes. There is none on my quad so if anyone has a couple they arent using I would appreciate them. Shoot me a pm on a price.

Gasket on the motor side of reed cage, and one on the carb side. 4 total

Im my opinion, those gaskets are something that should be bought brand new.

they are only a few bucks each and you can get them anywhere.

I have ordered them from FAST and cascade in the past.

I believe like $4 each.

Stock reed cage stock boots there is only two gaskets on cylinder side from factory

Yeah there's only 2 from the factory. I use some liquid gasket on both sides of the reeds

i dont run those gaskets. i just use liquid gasket and make sure its good and sealed. i have made them before. just get the stuff from the auto store and cut them out. worked great.

My bad, I have VF2's. I thought it was the same as far as gaskets go.
