jjn56 Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 I got new brake pads and I am installing them, I compressed the cylinder down with a large c-clamp and took the lid off the master cylinder but I still can't get the cylinder to compress enough for the brake pads to fit and be able to get it over the disk, am I missing something? Thanks Quote
jjn56 Posted February 25, 2009 Author Report Posted February 25, 2009 Bump, I'll be working on this when I get off work, Any Ideas? Quote
2001Stroker Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 I've heard of people having to sand a little off of new pads to get them to fit. Also, check your slider pins, to make sure they're going in all the way. I usually put a thin coat of anti-seize on them. Quote
jjn56 Posted February 26, 2009 Author Report Posted February 26, 2009 I think I will machine off about .08 off each pad tommorrow Quote
