GotBanshee? Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Hey guys. My mods are in my sig. I have a Mikuni PE38mm that i baught new a while back for my 250x but never put it on. My question is would it be better to run it as a single and have to buy the single conversion stuff wich is just as much as a single carb, or buy another of the same ones and run a dual carb setup? THE GRIM RIPPER Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Looks like your running stock carbs now right? Which are 2 6 mm...... I dont think dual 38's are the route you should take? Use the search button bottom right hand drop down box, please :edited: Quote
blaster2006 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 i wouldnt use 38mm dual.. you dont even have jug porting Quote
AKheathen Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 i wouldnt use 38mm dual.. you dont even have jug porting it says ported head, common mistake. but duals would be way overkill, and even on the large side with a single setup. Quote
J-Madd Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 250x is a four-stroke. Can't use that carb anyway. Quote
sleeper06 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I agree u cant run that carb,but why would 38s be be to big,I run 39mm carbs on a 4mil Quote
J-Madd Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 His motor is stock stroke and no portwork, I think. Just scanned the thread. edit: Actually, if he as a 4 mil, and aggressive porting, 38s would be fine. Quote
